Gaza is now rubble, the businesses shops and schools, hospitals are no more, a significant number over 50,000 people are killed mostly civilians. While it may be true that the partisans of Gaza may hide in hospitals to be targeted by the I.A.F, the country that prides itself on surgical missions, her halo has well and truly slipped off.
Time to stop and think, the IDF is pushing a bad decision to take on Iran next, any such engagement will probably draw in the Americans and make it a hot war. Using the same justification that Israel uses to possess the Atomic Bomb, Iran will claim the same – self defence.
At the conclusion of World War 1, the Germans released Influenza on the world – it wasn’t the Spanish. They (the Germans) had obtained samples of the flu virus from the Pasteur laboratory, in Paris. Epidemic spread all around the world, what saved the Germans from further punishment, was that they could argue, the French would have done the same and spread Influenza across Germany, they the Germans just did it first.
The Israelis are now installing fallout shelters in strategic locations around Israel, akin to Berlin 1945, I hope Israel, steps back from the abyss, Peace is free, war’s are costly.
The lesson, Nelson Mandela said it right, corner an adversary, but give them wriggle room, to get out in the way you like them to. If you trap an adversary they may lash out in the worst way.
