It is eleven (11) years since the inexplicable disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370. Fully laden with Chinese travellers merely wanting to go home that simply dropped off RADAR midway to its ultimate destination of Beijing. Was it the intention to send Beijing a message….? The date of 18/03/2014, considered unlucky as well as lucky, the 18 representing fortune or “certain” fortune and the fourteen representing death or “certain” death an oxymoron to Chinese feng shui culture. It is rumoured that the only Muslim person on that flight was the pilot, was a warning given to the Islamic community? Check with local Imams …
But why? You may ask, were there only presumably a compliment of atheist travellers on MH370? Think back to about that time China was quelling an open revolt in Xianyang giving the Muslims the velvet glove treatment to quell the uprising. As things got progressively worse, Beijing stationed troops in Xianyang much to the consternation of the local Muslim populace. After the MH370 disaster President Xi, put the Uighers into sanitized labour camps, creating a low cost high-end labour force, manufacturing electronics and other products for the likes of Temu, Made-In-China, Alibaba and Wish to sell online made for export no middle man, earning the Chinese government a fortune, giving the Uighers something positive to do, earn some money and to distract them from open revolt with productive labour, President Xi is trying to maintain peace through productive engagement, before they can be released, President Xi wants to know the Uighers will forget the idea of violence and open revolt, I am of the opinion that these people are not mistreated, merely corralled into productive labour, teaching the Uighers skills. The Uighers want independence akin to the Tuhoe people never signed the Treaty of Waitangi, the Uighers say “yes let us be free”, Beijing says “no”, Xianyang is and shall for ever be and integral part of China, but perhaps eligible for “one country two systems”? What can I say over 200 passengers lost for decisions that bothered the Uighers decisions made by the Chinese Government, many passengers who would have not known, even where Xianyang in the North West of China is when it all went blank.
