The Dutch have a long history of reclaiming land from the Sea in particular in the English Channel. Known originally as the Zuider See, now known as the Isomeer. From sea to lake.
The Chinese President, apparently is now using this technology developed by the Dutch in an Island hopping campaign, increasing territory, using any land mass, no matter how small as a frame of reference, to reclaim more and more land in the open sea. It can be considered a form of provocation, to neighbouring countries, for the Chinese to hop on to tiny Islands ad infinitum, improve them by expanding their territory then fortifying them. Funnily enough it would appear the Chinese government with this strategy are effectively repeating the flawed strategy of the Japanese during WW2, these Japanese Islands were fortified heavily by the Japanese then simply cut off from all supply and simply left to “wither on the vine” by the Americans, with the Imperial Japanese Army on these islands simply dying off due to starvation.
Seemingly the Chinese PLA have been infiltrated with incorrect thinking, USA I am looking in your direction for this game.
